Spring Fling

Yet another over successful trip to Dollar Tree.  It may be safe to say this is one of my favorite stores!  Today I tried really hard to stay focused on the occasion, my friend helped me stay on track....almost LOL!  It's finally Spring and I am overjoyed with the warmer weather, longer daylight hours and Spring home decor in ALL the stores! Today  I picked up some materials to kinda freestyle a flower wreath in beautiful springy hues.  I also picked up some extra vases to place inside the wreath (fingers crossed it comes out like I am envisioning).  I am not sure what I will put inside the vases, possibly candles.

For this project you will need ALOT of flower bunches (about 15),  2 foam wreathes, 2 cylinder vases, Scissors or a wire cutter and thats it!!! ALL FROM DOLAR TREE!!

Cut the stems about 2-3 inches long, depending on the depth of your foam wreathes.  Leave a few with a long stem to place in the vase.

Begin to place your flowers on the top, being sure to overlap the inside edge of the wreathe.  And continue this process until you cover the top.

As you can see in this pic I didn't overlap the flowers on the inside edge enough but decided to continue LOL.
When you place the flowers on the outer ring of the wreathe, tilt the upwards a little to fully cover the outer edge of the wreathe and hopefully you wont need but one more layer of flowers to completely cover the wreathe!

                                                                 Almost Done!!!!

Ahhh such a simple and vibrant addition to any dresser, counter, mantel or table centerpiece.  It has brought visual happiness to me by just being in this area of my apartment!!!
